Why Choose Us

Few firms can rival our knowledge and expertise on how to conduct a property auction.

At Woolley & Wallis we have been Auctioneers since opening our doors for business in 1884.  Originally the livestock market was held in the market square in Salisbury before moving to the site where Waitrose is now situated and latterly to the purpose built market at Netherhampton, where we still have an office. We were also synonymous with the Wilton Sheep Fair now run by Southern Counties Auctioneers and of course many people know us as Fine Art Auctioneers from our premises in Castle Street. Property sales were historically held in the Red Lion Hotel in Salisbury and currently we hold our auctions at the Milford Hall Hotel just round the corner from our offices in Castle Street.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a tailored service with the capability of selling property on behalf of our clients by any method. Auctions are becoming an increasingly common and effective method of sale and we welcome and look forward to having the opportunity to guide you on what method would best suit the sale of your property.
