A Successful Farm Dispersal Sale Saturday 17th August

Auctioneers on the day were Chris Cary, Charles Lucas and Ben Marshall.  There was a tremendous turn out in support of the family and Auctioneers.

Particular highlights were the Howard Rotovator that sold for what must be a record price of £1,750, the two MF 124 Balers that sold collectively for £5,350, that are destined for the export market and the hedger for £3,450.

The three tractors sold very well indeed including the MF 265 that made £7,000.

Ben Marshall reports “Dispersal sales are an important part of the farming community, providing a commercial means of disposal whilst also being a social occasion.  We look forward to holding more sales in the not too distant future”.
