Property Description

The land is ideally suited for planting with trees and by creating new woodland this will play an important role in the UK's efforts to hit a zero carbon emission by 2050. Additional woodland will provide a range of other ecosystem benefits such and soil conservation and boost biodiversity.

GRANTS
The Government has a £50 million Woodland Carbon Guarantee scheme to boost tree-planting in the fight against climate change. The new scheme will encourage farmers and landowners to plant more trees and create woodland in return for payments as these trees grow. Successful participants will be offered the option to sell Woodland Carbon Units to the Government over 35 years at a guaranteed price, thus providing an income for businesses to compensate for their carbon emissions.

PUBLIC ACCESS
There is a public footpath and a bridleway over the property as shown on the sale plan and the property is easily accessed from the village road which leads off the A360.
